Messages may be sent manually or through our communications platform as part of providing requested client services.

Recipients may withdraw consent and opt out of SMS or MMS communications at any time by replying STOP to a message from LMD Accounting & Tax Services.

After replying STOP, the recipient may receive a confirmation that the opt-out request has been processed. No further text messages covered by that request will be sent unless the recipient later requests or consents to text communication again.

LMD Accounting & Tax Services will honor opt-out requests received through other reasonable methods when the request clearly identifies the applicable telephone number.

Opting out of text messages does not prevent LMD Accounting & Tax Services from communicating through other appropriate methods, including telephone calls, email, postal mail, or our secure client portal.

SMS and MMS delivery is subject to the availability and operation of participating wireless carriers. Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

LMD Accounting & Tax Services cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered or received within a particular period.

Standard SMS and MMS messaging may not provide the same level of security as our designated client portal or other secure document-transmission methods.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, complete tax returns, bank account information, passwords, copies of identification, or other highly sensitive financial or personally identifiable information through text messages.

When sensitive information or documents are needed, LMD Accounting & Tax Services may direct the client to our secure Client Portal or another approved secure transmission method.

Mobile telephone information and SMS consent records will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be provided to communications service providers only as reasonably necessary to deliver and support our text-messaging services.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
